Animals are at the forefront of the minds that run the Bandipur National Park in India. By using solar energy, the park has been able to save its wildlife from drought by pumping water for the last two years. They have powered 45 waterholes using solar energy and pump almost 30,000 liters of water per day. Around 139 tigers, 1,600 elephants and 25,000 deer all live in the park. Learn more.
